Ep 35 - Memorial Day history, a tribute to my father and death of a true ICON!

In this episode I talk about where Memorial Day came from and how many soldiers have died defending our freedoms. Then, a special tribute to my father. He didn't serve in the military because his vision was not good enough, but he served in other ways and absolutely LOVED to fly. Its from my father that I get my love for airplanes and flying and my love for astronomy. After hearing some of his stories you might think he was pretty awesome too! Then, a true icon in the Music and Entertainment industry. Tina Turner died last week. Her career spanned so many decades and reached so many generations that she is loved and appreciated by people of all ages. Of course, I always have to end on a positive note... two actually!
